So, I'm finally over the flu, but still am exhausted, like I ran a marathon, not that I really know what that feels like, but I can imagine. I also have no creative drive at the moment so although I will share what's been going on here, don't fault me for it being so BLAH!
As Luna, my HLBOES homework has been seriously lacking attention! I must work on my divination tea leaf reading this weekend. I think I will make my birthday celebrating sister a victim of my tea reading and force her to go to Teavana with me. We'll head over there via the Flue Network (different than the flu which makes you feel like hell, the network is the ultimate in conveniece) and check out some new teas.
I also need to finish up my hat made with the yarn dyed by Danido. BTW, you need to check out her blog, it's hysterical. I will be posting some pictures later this weekend.
BIG SALE AT STORE THIS WEEKEND ONLY!!!
As a member of Etsy's Team ESST, I am hosting a February Sale Extravaganza at my store. Everything will be 20% off with FREE shipping on orders over $75 domestic and $100 internationally. I was planning on selling some fibers at my Guild meeting this Saturday; however, my husband has to work (his job IS more important than mine) and I can't find a babysitter. SO, it means that there will be this GREAT sale with LOTS of stuff being listed all weekend. I'll also be giving away a FREE Felt Bead Kit with the first three purchases this weekend, so hurry!
To get you over here and there, I'm giving away spinning fiber this time. 2.5 oz of my Valentines Special XS SoX Batts in Chocolate Kisses, wonderful hot pink and chocolate colored fibers blended with lots of sparkle. I will be listing a few 2.5 oz and 5 oz for sale on my site. Just let me know what you think of it and you'll be registered to WIN. Make sure you give me your Ravelry ID or another way to contact you.
These batts
are also making an appearance in the Phat Fiber February box along with a Felt Bead Kit from me. Don't know what Phat Fiber is? Well, since you MUST, I'll tell you. It's your fiber fix in a box, a surprise of wooly (and other fiber) goodness that will help you face this last stretch of winter. A whole bunch of us indie fiber artists make up lots of samples for your enjoyment. Each and every month is filled with different samples, sizes and artists that have spent hours procuring and preparing wonderful, fibery goodness for you to try. If you are lucky enough to get one (the first box in January sold out in 20 minutes!) you will finally be able to try all those fibers that your pocketbook wouldn't let you try in full size. Just make sure you get a second job to ensure that you can get your fix once we've got you hooked!
Jess is the mastermind (as well as our groups' glue) behind this box. Over at LoteTree she creates marvelous soaps and other necessary womanly items (okay, there are a few guy things too). At her Phat Fiber Etsy store, she has listed a bunch of collaborative items. Wonderful stuff you much check out!
'Til we talk again, make sure you have your recommended daily fiber allowance!

ooooooh, what pretty roving! I love it, and I would love to make a, say, lace weight yarn with it. I'm sure it would make a luscious shawl!
